This year, Laneige is targeting to raise RM60,000 through the sale of its all-new Water Sleeping Mask from 1st May to 31st July 2015. RM10 from every jar of Water Sleeping Mask sold will go to the fund which will be used to facilitate the installation of rainwater harvesting system at the six homes. Last year, Laneige raised RM35,000 which benefitted three children’s homes namely Trinity Community Children Home Society, Shelter Home for Children and Praise Emmanuel Children Home.



The six homes that will benefit from this year’s campaign are Rumah K.I.D.S, Rumah Amal Cahaya Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (RACTAR), Rumah Bakti, Rumah Kebajikan Anbu Illam, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ehsan Ash-Shakur (PEKEAS) and Rainbow Home.

The rainwater harvesting system that will be installed at the homes aids in reducing the usage of treated water while enabling the homes to enjoy continuous supply of water. Using this system, rainwater will be collected and recycled for non-drinking purposes such as toilet flushing, cleaning, washing and watering plants. This simple yet innovative way to harvest rainwater will not only reduce the water bill but it also functions as an alternative water source during a water crisis.

“Last year’s campaign was a success with the rainwater harvesting system installed in three homes. This year, we are happy to be able to reach out to more homes. Having MENGO as an NGO partner for this campaign is also ideal as they are both environmentalists and water conservationists,” said Foong Winnie, Laneige Malaysia’s Brand Manager.

 

Yasmin Rasyid, Chairperson of MENGO is confident that the Waterful Sharing Campaign will serve as a lifelong learning experience for the children from the homes. “In Malaysia, unfortunately we take our water supply for granted. Most people don’t realize the importance of water conservation until a water crisis happens,” said Yasmin.




Yasmin added that most people are still unaware of the many ways recycled water can be used. Watering plants and cleaning the house compound for example are tasks that do not require the use of treated water.

Through this campaign, Laniege and MENGO hope to reach out to the homes to provide them with a continuous water supply while educating them on the benefits of rainwater harvesting.



The Water Sleeping Mask will officially go on sale at all Laneige beauty counters and boutiques starting 1st of May 2015 at a retail price of RM110. Customers who purchase the Water Sleeping Mask during the campaign period will also receive a Limited Edition Laneige Goodnight Teddy Bear.

Those who can’t wait to try out the all-new Water Sleeping Mask can make their purchase at the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask Pre-launch Roadshow located at Mid Valley Megamall’s Lower Ground Centre Court on the 27th of April 2015.

Packet One Networks Sdn Bhd (P1) today announced its latest P1 ToGo promotion campaign, offering 1-month free subscription for those who purchase online. This is set to enable the 36% of data hungry youths aged from 20 -34, especially urbanites, to stay connected with ease and worry-free on limited data usage.



It is a growing trend that youths in urban areas have multiple devices connected to the Internet simultaneously. In addition, heavy consumption of high definition (HD) content and utilization of large screen devices are identified as the main reasons of data limit depletion before the end of a bill cycle. Recognizing these consumer habits, the P1 ToGo campaign is offering more value to users by giving unlimited data with speed up to 1Mbps at only RM115.53 per month.

“Digital activities among consumers of all ages, especially the millennial generation, are increasing over the years, and we are very excited to see this trend,” said Lai Shu Wei, Chief Marketing Officer of P1. “With high penetration of social networking and online engagement, the need to be online at all times, anywhere and everywhere on multiple devices is high. At P1, we are set to fulfill these needs of the data hungry users and enable them to utilize the Internet to its full potential. ”



“Youths are migrating to urbans areas for better career opportunities. Majority of them would own multiple devices and depend heavily on Internet to find job as well as stay connected with the family,” added Shu Wei.


“The MX 230 modem in the package would address their needs as the modem allows multiple devices to be connected and shared, indoor and outdoor, anytime. With this MiFi modem, users are able to connect their laptop, and mobile devices, such as smartphones, and tablets, while they are on the go. And the good news is, those who subscribe online during the campaign period will enjoy free subscription for the first month,” concluded Shu Wei.


The campaign is running from 6 April to 13 May 2015.

Another 20 children elected to govern the city for Cool Kids for 2015 office term

As you all may ask what is “CongreZZ” in KidZania?

CongreZZ is the legislative governmental body of KidZania that is overseen by 20 children (also referred to as CongreZZ Kids) who are its elected representatives and naturalised citizens, Voted into office, KidZania CongreZZ congregates quarterly at the city level to share ideas and voice opinions in oders to keep KidZania’s spirit alive, current and socially relevant. The purpose and intent of these meetings are to benefit the KidZanian community by discussing topics such as media, entertainment, education, literature, as well as sharing the main concerns of tourists and citizens KidZania.

There are kind of ambassador of KidZania!
But they are have more resposible of this!
they will have meeting, gathering to make KidZania KL better.
to input their creative and think out of the boxes ideas.
yes, sometime kid can be very wild in term of thinking...


Well Done for the 1st batch of CongreZZ Kid 2014!

蜜蜂时自然界中重要的授粉昆虫,同时,蜜蜂的授粉过程在人类的食物中扮演着关键 的环节。许多农作物,例如杏仁非得依靠蜜蜂的帮助来授粉。然而,随着的农药使用 不断增加,气候转变以及绿色环境的逐渐消失,近期,蜜蜂的数量有着不断下降的趋 势。 蜜蜂数量的减少将对全球的农业造成负面影响,并可能引发一个大规模的粮食短缺危 机。失去了这些授粉小兵的帮助,我们的餐盘将失去色彩缤纷的食物,更别说营养缺 乏。 Melvita是由一位专业蜂农兼生物学家所创立,因此品牌极为关切生态环境。事实上, Melvita是源自两个并排的拉丁文:“mel”意思是蜂蜜,而“vita”则意味“生命”,这颂扬蜜 蜂非凡的作为,也表达了植物与动物王国的紧密相联。 身为今年地球月的倡导者之一,马来西亚Melvita决定透过参观云顶高原Happy Bee Farm养蜂农场的活动来拯救蜜蜂。这是马来西亚Melvita第三次主导的本地绿化活动。 共有27位媒体代表参与这意义非凡的活动。


透过这次参观活动,马来西亚Melvita希望媒体、消费者群与大众能明了蜜蜂在维系地 球生态环境平衡中所扮演的重要角色。除了教育大众有关近期蜜蜂的每年耗损量,而 引发的蜜蜂生态危机,Melvita也强调品牌基金对蜜蜂生态所实施的承诺与未来保障。 Melvita基金会承诺将参与任何研究,或倡导任何有利于蜜蜂生态的援助,同时帮助蜂 农提升他们的养蜂事业。 充满趣味性的参观活动先由 Happy Bee Farm 的顾问 Eric Chan 带领全体媒体参观者 进入蜜蜂生态教育旅程,过程揭露了本地蜂农养蜂的整个程序。Eric 也向参观者讲解 养蜂业的各个环节;从打造适合蜜蜂居住的木箱蜂巢、收集蜂蜜到最终萃取野生蜂 蜜。

每位参观者都有机会观看野生蜂蜜如何从蜂巢中收集的真实示范。除了蜂蜜,Eric 也 提出了对人体有益的其它蜜蜂产品,它们一般被广泛当做膳食保健品,这包括蜂蜡、 蜂皇浆(源自年轻工蜂下咽腺的分泌物质)以及蜂胶,一种树脂物质,蜜蜂一般会用 它来密封蜂巢的裂痕。


比较起每天食用的蜂蜜,Melvita 使用较少量的蜂蜜注入品牌旗下的保养品,例如:不 超过 5%; 因此,对于其可持续发展的影响是非常低的。无需大量,蜂蜜本身所持有的 强大力量,只需少许就足以发挥效益。若大量使用,保养品质感的品质可能会因此下 降。最大的挑战是如何在蜂蜜特性上取得平衡、其糖含量(因这将影响保养品的质 感)、最终保养品的保存以及源自供应商的货源。了解这一切后,Melvita 已和几个有 机蜂蜜供应商携手合作,确保高品质蜂蜜的充足供应。 之后,Eric 将参观活动转移至蜜蜂养殖教育区,此区域展示出多样化的真蜂标本,包 括无刺以及危险性蜜蜂品种,而黄蜂标本也在其中。他进一步详细说明蜜蜂的生态环 境系统,它们在花卉生态环境扮演的重大授粉功能及其它与蜜蜂相关的资讯,例如蜜 蜂繁殖的工具和器材。蜜蜂养殖教育展示区的平面资讯墙,均采用蜂窝蜂巢的设计结 构,从而展示蜂农对养蜂所付诸的心力。 
除了蜜蜂,Happy Bee Farm 也是许多蝴蝶与昆虫的居所,例如甲虫和壁虎,在参观旅 途中,每位参观者都有机会与大自然近距离接触,也见证各种色彩缤纷的蝴蝶在雨林 中飞跃,收集花蜜,更发掘了一群以各种奇特形态、颜色和大小的昆虫所散发的无限 生命力




参观活动结束后,紧接着是充满惊喜的“Plant for the Bees”活动和“Bee Hive Painting” 活动,每位参观者都能亲身体验在回收的二手轮胎中种植花朵,并在木蜂巢上彩绘出 缤纷色彩。 为创造这“亲”授粉花园,Melvita贴心地挑选出薰衣草、薄荷、玫瑰以及木槿花等花卉 植物。这些“亲”蜜蜂植物亦是Melvita的招牌成分,你能在以下保养品中寻获它们: Lavender Floral Water、Lavender Shea Butter、Gentle Purifying Shampoo、Extra-soft Foot Cream、Fresh Breath Toothpaste、Organic Rose Beauty Mist、Rose Floral Water、 Rose Cranberry Cream Soap、 Rose Extraordinary Water、Wild Rose Soap Bar、Nectar Pur 系列 、Pulpe de Rose 系列以及 Floral Bouquet 系列。

参观者们接着享用了一顿由农场员工精心准备的“honey-licious” 午餐。马来西亚 Melvita零售营运兼培训经理Coco Lee也向所有出席参观者表达感谢,感谢他们令此次 的户外活动充满了意义,同时也进一步了解Melvita这个品牌。 “蜜蜂与Melvita的品牌中心思想是紧密相联的,同时品牌也致力于保护自然生态与蜜 蜂,Melvita基金成立于2010年,基金支援并倡导任何保护蜜蜂未来的活动,透过各项 研究以及主导活动来延续蜜蜂的生命,保护它们的生态环境并促进全球蜂农的发展。 过去几年来,Melvita共赞助了223个新蜂巢的建设,打造了26个亲蜜蜂区域,提供61 位蜂农培训,并带领了9项研究/研讨会,它们都致力于蜜蜂的困境。今天,参观蜜蜂 农场成为了我们承诺之一,从而协助本地社区意识到自我发起的重要性,以让地球变 得更适合蜜蜂居住。” Coco Lee在致词时这么表示。 在全球的努力中,Melvita 基金近期所支援的则是由英国伦敦的 Friends of the Earth 所 主导的计划。此主要活动的名称为“The Bee Cause”,它们的目的不单是建立蜜蜂的安 全港,以鼓励蜜蜂在都市环境中生存,同时也鼓励人们种植野花来提供蜜蜂粮食。在 短短两年间,此计划取得了预料之外的成功!共有 70 个蜜蜂世界被建立,共创造了 3,276 平方米的蜜蜂与授粉昆虫地区!
